For a while there was a monthly arts and culture newspaper here called The Kickapoo Free Press.
They were ever so nice to give me a whole page each month. No direction what-so-ever was given. And that's why it was so much fun.
Over the course of the newspaper's life, I did interviews with the people who plow our streets, looked up random addresses at the historical society and crafted visual stories explaining how that building came to be, or just drew my observations of everyday life.
